Brock Lesnar

I dont see a problem with his post fight antics as they call it except pissing off bud light lol. Mir called him out after he beat Nogueira and nobody said anything. When Brock won he said to Mir "talk shit now" when he was getting booed he flicked off the crowd. Big Deal. Its America you can boo he can make gestures. This beast of a man is great for MMA. It gives them a villian that you love to hate yet is hard to beat. Next step needs to be Fedor vs Brock, now that would be interesting

  1. just because he's a villain doesn't mean he's great for mma. villainy is for WWE, mma is about humility and respect and brock has fucking none of it. he's not a martial artist, he's a prize fighter and that's why he doesnt belong in the octagon with people who put their heart and soul into it and didn't combine genetic freakness with steroids.

look at that fat flabby fuck. he's lost so much weight. don't even try to tell me he's suffering from not taking steroids. when he's not HOLDIONG YOU with 275 lbs, he's ineffective with his strength and has to use his monkey arms that must come from the same guy his chest tattoo came from to box.

brock has nothing but genetic gifts and money. quit fucking giving this guy respect, he didn't climb any ladders he jumped out of a fuckin plane and landed into the UFC so dana white could pay him more than 95% of his real fighters.

i don't wanna hear any more of this brock is good for MMA shit. whether you like him or not, it's undeniably false

  2. by the way, brock lesnar is the least important thing to happen during UFC 100. Yoshihiro Akiyama won a decision against an upset MASTER who's been beating everyone they bring in to try to stop him in Alan Belcher. 10/10

Paulo Thiago had a competitive, albeit 30-27, decision against a game john fitch and proved that although he's got some things to work on his standup is REAL and forced fitch to take him down. 8/10

Dan Henderson beat the best Michael Bisping we've seen coming out. That motherfucker looked like Swick, I thought he was gonna be as ... speedy ? Fast? Whats the word I'm looking for? QUICK... And to think he thought he had better foot movement than Dan; "I knew he tends to circle to the left and I know that's not too god of an idea against me." RIPPED UP. 11/10 for that fight.

Bones Jones beat a wrestler who moved down from heavyweight (similar to what Bader just did) and I'm still not convinced as I think it was a move down from his last step in competition but also a stylistic test to see if he could stop pressure and takedowns. He showed his versatile striking and successfully landed a tide-changing spinning backfist/elbow type thing and won the fight with a d'arce choke. I'm not too impressed, O'Brien is a wrestler and that move is tailor made to give wrestlers problems when they don't get both legs. 8/10
Go Bones, you'll lose to Machida

Tom Lawlor exposed CB's weak submission defense in a matter of seconds, after probably showing one of the biggest scenese of pre-fight antics since maybe Carlos Newton vs Matt Hughes (mind you Lawlor actually won) 10/10, +1 for babe ruthin it, +1 for beating CB. 12/10

Oh, and GSP DOMINATED a man whom they say belongs in a whole nother weight class come fight time and in such spectacular fashion that it's inevitable they try to set him up with Anderson Silva. I give GSP a 10/10 for winning in everything and Thiago a John Fitch 8/10 for not dying and sometimes being able to get up.

Anderson Silva and GSP won't happen. Dana loves to talk about it, they want it to happen so bad. Anderson has 3 fights left on his contract, including the Forrest Griffin fight. After that it's Dan Henderson (provided the UFC doesnt put it in his Butt after beating their way into the British market) and they can't vacate his title by doing a catch weight with GSP for his last fight; it has to be a title defense. If GSP wants to put on some weight like he says he will, he will be severely outsized anyway because his build is made for his weight class much more so than for 185. However, GSP has a longer amount of time left in this sport. Even if he loses to Anderson, it may be the best lesson he ever learns and also may be the best way for Anderson to go out with a bang.

Kim Dong Hyun (Dong Hyun "STUN GUN" Kim) is a piece of shit. He beat up a canadian fighter who beat Ryo Chonan. I hate this guy and he doesn't belong in the UFC and it'd be proven if they put him against better fighters than drugged up Parisyans.

Jim Miller beat that pussy vegan Mac Danzig and that makes me want to dance. 10/10 for eating meat Jim!

oh yeah... let's not forget.. Hall of Famer Mark Coleman won a fight tonight. Why are we even talking about Brock Lesnar?

  4. brock shows no class no even in defeat and not even in victory shows his mentality not only as a fighter but as a person, like i said in sherdog brock is a physical specimen that is very strong and big, and has great wrestling ability, he is fast for how big he is, but all those great qualities he has physically doesnt overshadow the fact that he is a pompous prick in my opinion no offense but people who like brock lesnar usually shares the same qualites as him whether its his fighting style or the way he acts.. but he is a character i give him that, he will bring in a shit load of ratings, but what if he loses what will he be able to fall back on? he will eat his own words eventually, just like michael bisping did and it will eventually happen to brock and it will be a GLORIUS day for me.

michael bisping vs dan henderson- couldnt have gone any better than that.. michael bisping got what he deserved plain and simple, dan henderson showed that he still has it even at 38 years old. I dont see why they would give him a title shot, i just see the same outcome of their last fight, picked apart on the feet, henderson couldnt contain him for long on the ground even though he took him down for a whole round, i wonder what strategy he will come up with against anderson i assume it will be to take him down then do more damage then he did last time. he has a great right hand but i dont think its going to find its home vs silva.

akiyama and belcher, good fight, they both had good exchanges i felt that akiyama landed the more devastating shots, and got the takedowns, i liked how when he was in belchers guard he looked at the ref as if to stand it up then fakes it and lands a good punch that was cool.. the akiyama that we seen in that fight showed that he is not yet ready for a title shot clearly but he does have the capacity to improve, and after he just got through his ufc jitters i am looking forward to his next fight and see what he improves on.

gsp vs alves, went as i expected, i thought that gsp would exploit the holes in alves game which he did, i was unsure because i didnt know how much alves has improved i mean he did knock out karo and hughes and got rid of koscheck, but from the spencer fisher fight(i know it was a long time ago)he got outpointed by a better striker and the derrick noble fight noble had alves in trouble for a second then out of nowhere alves lands a devastating punch in the brink of defeat, also against lytle, chris lytle is a game opponent but to go to a controversial decision with him showed his lack of experience and the holes in his game, gsp would have murdered lytle in my opinion, as long as gsp is champion i dont see alves obtaining the title any time soon.. but who else is left for gsp?

jon fitch vs paulo thiago, went pretty much how i expected, getting outworked by jon fitch is very common.

  5. c'mon undeniably false thats an asinine statement. he is the heavyweight champ has man handled every opponent and has the hold world talking about the ufc right now. Any publicity is good publicity. Plus he had the balls to learn on the fly Bobby Lashley is fighting scrubs and is not impressive. Lesnar works hard and its proved by his fighting. He has taken respect by beating Mir, Coutoure, and Herring in a 6 fight career thus far. Obviously you dont like the guy but he is the man in the heavyweight division

As far as the villian every single sport has this villian effect whether its McEnroe in tennis the Yankees, Lakers, Patriots they sell tickets and put asses in the seats. UFC had 1.5 million views and Most from Lesnar. Yeah the card wwas great but people pay to see Lesnar. ESPN, yahoo, hell my mom is talking about the UFC and its 2 days after the fact. So undeniably he is good for the sport

  6. I dont know how you can bash lesnar for his "antics" all mir did leading up to the fight was tell everyone how lesnar was over rated and that he didnt have a chance. mir found out what ive always said, there is no place that is safe in the octagon against him, he will punish you with massive fights standing or show you why he's a former ncaa champion on the ground while taking a rest from bouncing you head of the mat. so he spouted off after dismantling someone who had belittled him for weeks prior while saying nothing? so what, if anyone has felt an the fire and passion of proving people wrong especially in a physical competition you know that stuff like that is bound to happen. so what if he didnt hug and kiss after the match like welter wieghts, people love heavy wieghts for one reason, the love the raw power and carnage the human body can inflict and take, theres nothing more exciting than knowing that the fight could be over with one pucnh, or knee. if you dont like it dont watch him but i promise everyone else will. and if you like belt felts youre stuff watching lesnar for a LONG time

  7. the reason why people hate brock lesnar is because he doesnt show any respect you have to give respect to earn respect in my book, look at the heath herring fight, when he had heaths back he begin to act like he was riding it like a cowboy while twirling a rope, that is fucking ridiculous and immature of him. He gives good reasons for people to hate him. I think he has every right to fight in the UFC and showcase his skills, but shit if you are going to call yourself a mixed martial artist you should at least handle yourself like one have some dignity and respect not only for yourself and for your opponents but for the sport. TO even label brock as a mixed martial artist is a disgrace to "martial arts"... what do you mean by saying "so what if he doesnt hug and kiss after the match like welterweights"

    ReplyDelete
  8. this whole he is not a "Mixed Martial Artist" is ignorance and a personal dislike for him. If its his antics after the fight get over it. Rampage howls, Chuck does that weird shit, Tito dug a grave. He told Mir to talk shit now bashed a sponsor, and flicked off a booing crowd big deal. The man is the graetest NCAA wrestler ever and has stand up. His sub defense is improved. Mixed Martial artist use combinations of techniques well wrestling, boxing are two he uses and as he gets more experience he will add to his repertoire. He might be an asshole but he is dominant

  9. The thing all you Brock haters don't account for is that most sports fans, as well as most people, are retards. UFC has to win over the casual fan who isn't gonna care who the most well rounded or technical fighter is. They can do that with people who are fun to watch and talk a lot of shit like Brock Lesnar

Also just cause the guy can't submit anyone doesn't make him a bad fighter. It's mixed martial arts just because his mix is unbalanced doesn't mean anything if he can beat people. Heavyweights are probably the least skilled in any form of combat anyway...its more about being a huge motherfucker who can overpower people.

And why is respect important in the ring. This isn't Asia; these guys aren't bowing before they fight. If he's acting like a douche off camera then yeah I could understand a little hate but he's playing it up for the crowd and making shit interesting like he's supposed to. Don't hate the playa hate the game
